This
is an easy story. I was told
about this place in Wilson
county called Extreme Taxidermy
from a cousin of mine. I dropped
in to inquire about getting some
possible processing done when
the season starts in Refugio
County. When I came through the
front door of this business and
met the owner James. I
immediately asked him what that
sweet smell was? He said its a
new product called "Buck Candy".
I have never used an animal
attractant before and had always
been curious as to their
effectiveness. Well let me tell
you, I bought a container of
Buck Candy that day and have
been amazed by the results ever
since. I put it in my feeder and
a
cup or so on the ground in frond
of my camera just to see if it
would have any effect. After the
first pictures came in from my
camera i have been a believer
ever since. I have deer and hogs
rooting in areas that Buck Candy
was spread on. These same areas
are within feet of my feeder
with corn on the ground and yet
they are still coming to this
attractant over the corn in many
of the pictures. I never thought
anything could work this good...
Finally, with the help of Buck
Candy and a good strong cold
front this morning I managed to
catch up with this 14 point
buck.
Thanks again to my cousin for
pointing me in the right
direction and James at Extreme
Taxidermy for this amazing
product!!!
